There are numerous marriages in Tolkien’s works – but little practical description of the wedding ceremonies themselves, especially in the canonical books. Faramir's odd behaviour on his return from his first month as Captain of the Ithilien Rangers troubles Denethor, both as a father and as Ruling Steward. This article contains information on basic cooking techniques for those “travelling light” with minimal tools and equipment. Each section includes both real-world information and relevant canon quotes from Tolkien. It is by no means exhaustive but should give authors some ideas about how to make campfire scenes more realistic.\n\nThe article was compiled by Tanaqui from information supplied by Gwynnyd, Lyllyn and Maurita. This site seems to work well under the latest versions of Firefox/Mozilla and IE. However, there are some display and link issues with Safari. These seem to be to do with the way Safari supports ~JavaScript (which is used to create [[TiddlyWiki|http://www.tiddlywiki.com/]]). I don't seem to be able to find any kind of fix or workaround for this, so I'm afraid Safari isn't (fully) supported. I will keep looking.
